HELP!

In todays world , the people who serve themselves are the people who survive . but do we ever think about the others ?
the basic generosity is there in every person , but we don't let it come in to our actions . i am simply writing this article / blog , because  of what i have seen and observed in India (at least) has made me do some thinking . Try to answer this question ; how many strangers have you helped in your whole life till now ? (now don't say that we were told not to talk to strangers )honestly if we see , there will be at least 10 out of every 10 million people who have . why only those ? they weren't told to do so  , also they weren't forced to ?
okay , i will give a situation : there is a girl , who has just met an accident and is lying on the road . she is severely injured, and many people are passing by. you are also on the same road and see her  . think about it and now tell me , would you stop your car to help her ? .......
the answer , sadly for most will be NO ! what if( god forbid not ) it was one of your family members only then ?
It is a shame and disgrace for us humans to not help our own species . Now as new year is near by , i think we should take a new year resolution , that we will help anyone in need  starting from your own colleagues and classmates. I , myself will do the same , and with this initiative we can and will attain huge success in developing humanity in this and coming generations .
